« on: January 06, 2010, 11:47:36 pm »
Idea:

Universal "active" anticheat system that would not have any subscription fees and be open for community use. Base platform for further services provided by GamingTilt, like remote administration, PUG or ranking systems.

Features:

VDAC- Virtual Dark Arts Client

* Overall Progress: Windows Beta | Linux Beta/Debugging| Mac Pre-Alpha
* 100% Detection of current known hacks
* Currently Supported Games - Urbanterror (100%), Other games to come
* Very low resource usage/No FPS lag

TRON - The Real-time Operating Node

* Overall Progress - Beta/Pre-Release
* Nothing to install on gameserver, and servers are added instantly (RCON)
* Currently Supported Games - Urbanterror (100%)/many others
* Automatic kicking of 999 pings after timeout (100%)
* Player tracking and statistics (50%)
* PG-13 Banlists - Abusive players can be flagged by server admins and added to a PG-13 banlist that can be updated on your server automatically - see Remote Admin Node thread (5%)

Progress/Updates:

12/10/09 - Nearly a complete rewrite of VDAC released under Windows Beta version. 50+ people beta tested with only minor bugs that will be patched for next beta version. Linux to be released soon, followed by Mac.
6/21/09 - New features added to VDAC, will be kept silent until release. Next version is looking like a stable version, but will be released under alpha to debug. Beta is planned for a cross-platform release of the debugged alpha version. Once all platforms are debugged, we will be moving into stable. Planning to allow leagues to test beta versions on their gameservers.
6/11/09 - Current version v0.93a. VDAC security nearly complete, 1 vulnerability to fix. New feature in the works, to be announced later. Alpha version v0.94a expected soon. Multiple game support and load-balancing, as well as some logic change was done since last update.
5/12/09 - VDAC v0.92a Windows and Linux released
4/28/09 - v.91a VDAC Windows released
4/27/09 - v.9a VDAC Windows released

Other Organizations Involved: Virtual Dark Arts

Extra Information:

Due to the type of project this is, we cannot disclose too many details about how the program or system works. This will be the ONLY portion of any GamingTilt's code that will not be released/open-sourced.

This project was made possible by a lot time, hard work and money by myself and ZKAT8IT. If you would like to support the community and future projects, please subscribe to our forums to release pre-release versions and latest updates. If needed, ads may be placed into the system to help us out with further development and to keep the server clusters going. 100% of the money collected goes directly into development and operating costs, and 100% that can be released is.

It's not available for download currently. It'll be made available soon.

We will send out an email for the next major release. As long as you're registered to the site, you will get that email.
